LIS Fall Race Rendezvous

Race Start 1130 hours, Cocktails 1700 and Dinner 1800
The Fall Race Rendezvous is the final LIS on-the-water event for 2024. It will be held on the Western Sound on September 21. There will be an informal race beginning at 1130 off Stamford followed by a reception and dinner at Noroton YC in Darien.
Along with the contest held during the Spring Rendezvous, the race will determine the winner of the Corinthian Trophy, to be awarded during the Annual Meeting in November. Following the race, boats will gather at Noroton YC in Darien. Skippers may either rent moorings from the club ($60 for overnight; please call Scott Van Dusen at 203-655-7686 to reserve in advance). They may also anchor on their own outside the club mooring field.
Crew may have dinner on board, but those interested are invited to go ashore for a reception and dinner at Noroton YC, which will be in the Regatta Room at the club.
Those attending must register on the Corinthian web site for the dinner and pay $50.00 per head. They should indicate how many in their group will be staying for dinner.
Members and guests attending but not sailing may drive to the club by car.
